Introducing myself and my journal: spread your wings and fly..

About Me:
Hi to the world.!..i am a single parent of 3 kids and a secondary teacher in public school in the Philippines at same time. I have personal experience of injustice to women and children .. and would like to address the whole world attentions to resolve problems with the learning attitude of the youth today.. We all know that most of the family are broken due to many demands in financial and influences on internet and text messages. Husband and wife become unfaithful to each other and the first person to suffer with the broken relationship are their children...this started when women start to go to work and left the children alone at home..in my time I have seen a simple family lifestyle..where mom stay at home takes care of us and dad busy working the whole day..but dad can still read books and tell stories to us..my bother and I laying down on his two arms while he is telling story..we were inspired to read books at that time and open our home encyclopedia to look for pictures andplaces that he told us. Now ,parents are no longer staying more at home and no time for their children.. they even not able to impose right manners to elders and discipline..they were not thought how to care and love their brothers and parents.. but just ignore and tolerates their misbehaviour and negligence in their studies. The worse , i have seen now a days ..parents itself corrupt the studies of their own children and accept the violence they made by denying it. I understand the love of the parents in protecting their children. but not to the extent that children are the one setting the rules to them...despite of all the failing grades.. parents cannot force their children to give efforts to recover them but the parents alone are the one trying to fix it.. I have seen children talking to the parents as if their the one obliguing them to give money for toys and gadgets without any act of respect..but then the parents didnt show any act of disappointment nor correcting them.. teachers here find it hard to determine where will they stiand when it comes to discplines because what we impose is based on the standard and norms that is accepted by the society..but it contradict to the standard and action accepted by the parents at home...what will be world with this future parents...we know that the world they will live in will not be as easy as the world today...we must take part for an early change..and they must be aware!!!.. teacher Rose
