MY DEFINITION OF SECURITY

Security to me is getting justice, having access to justice. Women and girls having access to justice when molested, abused and misused. I am looking forward to a world where women and girls can freely express their mind without fear and intimidation. A world where abused, victims of rape and harassment can freely report their abusers and they are not blamed and stigmatized whether in the law court, in the community or in their family. I am tired of hearing the usual phrase “You caused it” to a girl that was raped, molested or harassed that should be consoled, cared for, show all the love in the world and her abuser to be sent to gal low or castrated. I am so tired of hearing You caused it, you should have been more submissive to a wife that was almost beating to death by the person she called her husband when that good for nothing husband should be dealt with severely to pay for his misconduct. We are in the world where even fathers abused their own daughters sexually and yet the daughter and her mother are blamed for the weakness and wickedness of the useless father and husband. Stopping all these aberrations is what Security means to me.

I have an idea. Developing the agency of a woman with having access to internet could give a woman voice, assurance of the powers embedded in her and the courage to create the life she want for herself. Having \"Agency Delivery Center\" in Nigeria and all countries of the world where women and girls could find their voices, live their dreams and create the life they want without any fear or intimidation would promote the security of women round the world. I am trained to do this and I want my sister to rally round me to start the pilot of this innovation in Nigeria. Join me to build \"Agency Delivery Center\" in Nigeria where Nigeria women and girls would freely speak out against culture of silence that has been plaquing them and has been exposing them to dangers on daily bases.

At the center, women and girls would develop their agency through Agency Based Empowerment Workshops developed 33 years ago by Gail Straub and David Gershon of Empowerment Institute. There will be access to internet and there would be opportunities for Holiday Boot Camp for women and girls round the year to be part of the empowerment workshops.
