Women Have Souls, Infact Unique

I came across a study recently by Aseigbu(1987) which revealed that at a point in history women were worshiped as goddesses, because of their capacity to bear children. Much later, with the advent of religions and the story of Adam and Eve,the regards for women changed. People began to see women as the cause of evil to mankind.They decided to look over the weakness of Adam who neglected his wife to be tempted by satan. Women then began to be seen as weaker and inferior sex.
At a point people doubted whether women had souls. In the 15th century, a meeting was held by men to decide whether women had soul. They finally decided that women had a second class type of soul. In 1787, Richard Whately defined women as:-\"Creatures that cannot reason and poke fire from the top\".
These trends of thought was inculcated into the heart of male children so that they don't see anything good in their female counterpart and into the heart of female children so that they don't see anything good in themselves. Even when they are able to see those good, they feel there is nothing they could do about it and so they resigned to faith and the fact that their only place is with their husbands and to rear children.
Even in the 21st century this evil notion is still staring us in the face. This is why in some society giving birth to a baby girl is like a sort of misfortune and badluck. This is also why there was a serious setback in the education of women all over the world because people see it as a waste.
Women our DESTINY lies in our hands, we must work together to correct this evil notion. Women all over the world who are still ignorant should be educated. Many countries are already represented in the PulseWire community. We should go back to the nooks and crannies of our countries to educate others that whatever men can do women can also do them even better and that whether the world likes it or not God created WOMEN with souls and good brains as men. Open their eyes to see the potentials and resouces God has deposited in them and the reasons to tap those resources
