A local artist, Charles Mlilo is volunteering his time to facilitate a two day art visual art session where 13 women and 3 men will be telling their stories in pictures about their experiences, feelings, attitude and opinion on the various forms of Gender Based Violence that is committed by people. A gallery walk will be held to showcase the stories told by women and men using visual art. hello i think this is good and it will be a form of communication. i hope that all will fully participate and that in their participation they will be able to find some kind of solace within them.

in my experience to say some thing out in any form helps relieve the pain one is going through..its a way of letting off.. i too convey my thanks to the organisers and the volunteers for making what will be happening happen best of luck .

Hello. I think this will be an important event to raise awareness and elicit involvement. The more ways the messages can be conveyed to help reduce gender based violence the better! This is an interesting approach and I hope it will be documented and shared widely. I was not clear on exactly where all this is happening and how those of us far away can stay apprised of it. All the best, Susa
