"VOF Week 3: (Finding my way in the maze)"

Never did I imagine that some of my childhood pleasures will die out so fast.I used to spend endless time writing letters to friends all over the world, post and wait for two weeks to hear from them. But all this has changed with the craze of computers. It now only takes a few seconds to send and receive mail from any corner of the globe as long as you are both connected to the internet.This is both exciting and scary!

The new concept of blogging is even making life less mysterious.We are now able to learn so much about one another by just logging into ones blog as long as you have the link.The secrets we once hid in our diaries are now open for the world to see.The number of bloggers keep on increasing day by day making all this a nightmare.I am now facing many challenges such as "What do I blog about?"To some this may sound very simple but with the competition, I need to avoid plagiarizing. Calls for originality is very essential. I also need to update myself with other peoples' write ups.This way I avoid repetition.The strategy of VOICE comes handy here.

"How often do I blog?" is now another issue arising. I created a blog quite recently but it is ages since I wrote anything in it. This then means time planning is very vital. I prepare my posts in advance and post when I need them. I could also create employment by outsourcing the content writing work to someone.

With stiff competition, I need readers for my blog. How do I generate the traffic?This will be possible by building social networks like what is happening in VOF and facebook,comment on other blogs and make subscribing easy for my readers. Unfortuantely some people are up to no good. Their aim is to discourage by negative feedback.I need to learn that I cannot please everyone. Controlling my temper and dismissing people who want to make me angry are some of the techniques I will apply.

Finally, monetizing my blog is still an area I have not ventured.Need to be more patient and increase the number of readers by having a reasonable target. Be more active with my blog and also encourage other upcoming bloggers by making comments in their blogs.Need to keep current with what is happening around the globe.
