WHAT DRIVES YOU????

This is a question I tend to ask myself over and over again. So does it relate to the goals, mission and vision one has? Sometimes these words can be very confusing and it is very easy to mix them up.

But today I read a very interesting article about this lady whose passion is cooking. She begun her profession in a very fascinating way. After completion of college, she went looking for a job in one of the big hotels but was told there was no vacancy. She never gave up and decided to request to work with no pay. This was gladly accepted by the HR. She worked in all different sectors of the hotel for one year without pay then went to look for greener pastures. She was fortunate but it was not in line with what she had been doing. Little did she know that this is where her opportunity to start her own was and so she became the supplier of food to the workers in industrial area. She got married and lived in different countries round the world. In each country she learnt their cuisines and improved on her knowledge. Unfortunately after a couple of years she was divorced. This almost killed her. It took her a while to regain consciousness. She had become hopeless but God came through for her with time. She reawakened her passion and currently runs her own "Lets Cook It" show in one of the TV channels.

You may be wondering why am giving you this narration. I know as women we go through so many issues in life and it is very easy to give up. But such stories are a reminder that there is still light in the tunnel no matter where you are at. We need to learn to pick up the broken pieces and bring them for repair to whomever you look up to. It could be God or somebody who inspires you like many of the women we will meet in World Pulse. Whatever your situation, please remember you are not alone.

And maybe that is why we had to write down our VISION as a roadmap to our destiny. You are all special and every situation you have undergone is a lesson to reaching your goal. It only depends on how you take it. Ladies, lets stand up tall and continue with the good fight for I believe we will accomplish our dreams. Keep on dreaming ladies...........
