I am 32 years of age, I have a Masters Degree from Australia in Agriculture Studies from the University of Queensland, I also have a Post Graduate Diploma in Agriculture Extension and a Bachelors Degree of Science in Agriculture.
I am working with an NGO in PNG, funded by the New Zealand Government Aid, based in Lae, Morobe Province, Papua New Guinea.
I coordinate the Gender Programme for this NGO Project and is very challenging especially in a male dominated culture, but nontheless people are gradually changing and surely I am optimistic, development will take its course one fine day in this nation with sensitized population of both male and females, knowing the clear cut issues of gender equality.
I look forward to joining this new group and will surely contribute where possible as I believe in networking as this is the only way we can move forward and develop.
Carolyn I am passionate about developing the women folks in the rural communities and believe that if the women are given the opportunity to rise up, surely a nation will rise up! Male chovanist and people who are stubborn to changes; but am sure if you want the world to change, be the change you want the world to be. Agriculture extension, agriculture agronomy and rural community development
My Vision for the Future
To see gender equality through education
