The Inner Revolution

When I found World Pulse over two years ago, I was imploring the answer to HOW? I wanted to know how to feel connected, how to live a life of deep purpose. I wanted to know how to morph my life circumstances into the greatest idea I ever held about myself. And I wanted to make a difference in the world.

This urge to dance on the stage of life, act out my unique expression and the urge for these actions to SERVE OTHERS was awakening in me. It was electrifying and yet it drove me crazy with it’s seed-like quality, it’s seduction of becoming. I desperately wanted a roadmap, I wanted to know how to get from point A to point B. But how would I arrive at any new destination if I continued to drive the same roads? So I took the nearest exit and stepped out barefoot into a field of new thinking.

I stopped imploring the answers. I began to connect with myself, and in turn found new connections from all across the globe through PulseWire. In the field of new thinking, all I had to be was me. All I had to do was forget everything, and SERVE MYSELF in order to remember everything. I remembered this:

When I am in service to myself I am serving the world in the greatest way possible.

I realized that the greatest way I can serve the world is through the giving of my unique gift because it’s not about looking to the world and fixing what needs fixing. It’s about conceiving and birthing what is mine to give.

We are agents of change on PulseWire because we use our personal story to drive change. We approach social change not from a place of -“how am I going to fix this problem?”- but through revolutionary thought, as in Neema’s story (http://www.worldpulse.com/node/54987), which so beautifully illustrates how we can choose radically new ways to approach problems with love and as opportunities to evolve rather than simply as problems to be solved.

Her powerful words ring true to my heart:

“There is indeed a change taking place within us that is instituting a courage and determination to invite the revolution we have longed for. And I don't know how to characterize it other than Light! Seeing is one thing, but feeling connected to Light's Source, peace has flooded my being as it leads me forward in response to the deeds of darkness.”

The inner revolution is where it’s at. I don’t have to know all the answers, I only have to know my song so that I can dance on the stage of life.

And now my outer life is following suit. Through practicing much patience, surrendering to the questions and living in the uncertainty, my outer life is shifting. This September, I head to New York City to attend World Pulse Live and the Social Good Summit. There is only one way to describe it, as Martha from the 2011 tour did:
IT”S BEYOND.
