The International Museum of Women (I.M.O.W.) is a unique, online social change museum dedicated to valuing the lives of women around the world. I.M.O.W.'s vision is to promote gender equity and contribute to a world free from gender discrimination and inequality. This vision guides I.M.O.W.'s organizational goals:* To be an institution honoring and valuing women—past and present—and the futures they are creating * To accurately incorporate women into the historical record through both global and gender perspectives * To contribute to a culture where all women have a voice and participate fully in the societies they inhabit * To build global understanding by fostering international dialogues and promoting social, economic, cultural, and political equality
Through art, history, culture, and the power of the Internet, I.M.O.W. offers award-winning online exhibitions and an online community that educate, create global dialogue, and inspire action to better the lives of women and the world. I.M.O.W. online exhibitions reach a global audience in Arabic, English, French and Spanish at www.imow.org. Valuing the lives of women, art, history, culture, education and technology.
