Thank you great sister. I am an amateur and still working to improve my skills. Disabled women in Nigeria are facing multiple challenges and really need support and empowerment. I hope and pray to do more to empower them.

Hugs, Celine

Thank you for your efforts to put together your video. I wish the text was a bit slower so I could read it all and understand it better. However, it is obvious you are making a difference in your community. The images and all the different stories send a powerful message. Great job, Kathy

Hi Celine

I just returned from a trip where I was on a small boat with limited access. I had a chance to review your video and amazed at all you have learned in such a short time!

The women are inspiring and I'm sure it encouraged them that you included them in your story. You will work out the technical glitches but your story telling is a wonderful skill"!

Best to you,

Christie

Hi Christie,

Welcome back! You are awesome. Thank you for the encouragements. You are the best mentor I have met. I am grateful to know and work with you. Your supportive words and calls kept me going in this amazing journey. I appreciate.

Yes, the women are encouraged, motivated and inspired. Beyioku-Alase sent me text message after the Module 1 assignment and said she was encouraged to do more for the visually impaired. Some want to join pulse wire. I have started working on plans to train them for the last VOF assignment. Yes, I am working now on the technical glitches and will edit soon.

Thanks dear Christie. Celine

Dear Stella,

Thank you so much. I think I have the voice to speak for the people and the experience of the work, but I am learning to apply my skills in journalistic way. I find you dear sister, a role model in this journey. Thank you for the inspirations.

Hugs, Celine.

It was wonderful that you could capture and illustrate such a variety of situations faced by disabled women in Nigeria. Their "self-help" efforts are very inspiring. I hope your video will stimulate greater awareness about their condition - and more support for their efforts to change the system.

Thanks for sharing their stories and their voices with the world!

Yes dear Katherine-- "self-help" is the solution we proffer, we assist ourselves accomplish our little efforts.

Thank you for your inspiring comment, which is also a great support.

Cheers, Celine

Celine, this is fantastic! Excellent work on a challenging assignment. I was especially excited to see Mama Deaf (didn't we "meet" her in your first assignment, Module 1?)!

You are telling an important story here-- one of women who are working hard to be change agents against many odds and unfair circumstances. You have incorporated photos which beautifully portray your subjects and your words are both informative and inspiring.

Go, Celine, go! As our program comes to a close, I say with great confidence and praise that you are an exceptional citizen journalist!

Dear Kristin

Yes, Mama Deaf featured in my writing on Module 1 (Profile). She is doing great job filling the gap in the society. I see her and others as outstanding women proffering solutions to challenges by helping themselves and others in their communities. I love their spirit and think their works are worth using to creatively tell my digital story. Many of them who have access to the work have sent in their appreciation and happiness. I can't wait to bring some into the World pulse family.

Thank you dear Kristin. I am proud to say you are a great moulder-- you are instrumental to making me an exceptional citizen journalist. I am grateful to you and Christie for wonderfully crafting my thought and my voice into valuable writing. I am proud to have you as my midwife. How I wish the journey will continue so I tap more from the wealth of your writing experience.

I miss our Skype calls.
