HOPE....

When I was young, in the streets of Lagos, Nigeria with all the bustling and hustling, accompanied by my mum, I felt a touch and looking down, a child stared up at me. Her mum was nowhere in sight. I was struck with such hope in her eyes expecting me to reach out into my pockets and give out some money. But I had none.... Now reflecting back at this i realised that irrespective of what we are going through, someone else is going through worse. we should all look up with hope like that child, knowing that somehow we'll make it through.... Each day brings about new hope... hope which keeps us alive.....knowing that everything will be okay if only we hold on a little longer.... so keep HOPE burning.....
