Introducing myself and my journal: Rescue the Girl

About Me:
I am a passionate, open minded young woman hoping to make a impact in the world at large. Presently working in the nonprofit sector, I am currently making some major life changes so that I can have a more meaningful impact in equality issues globally. I am about to begin my Masters studies in the fall, studying International Development and Social Change, with a specialization in education and development. I have a strong background in environmental management and policy, and I hope all of this will prepare me to develop methods of sustainable international development in the 21st century.

I am incredibly inspired by the women around me. I am hoping to take the life lessons I have been fortunate to encounter and use them to fuel me in my journey to learn more about myself and the world at large, to discover my strength and to empower those around me.
