BEFORE POSTING HERE, PLEASE READ THIS: Call for stories

Dear Story Fiends

I write to call you to post stories at The Storytelling House. We look for wise tales, wisdom stories, fables, strong women stories, strong men stories, myths, folktales, stories that move and inspire you. The stories that are universal are the ones that inspire everyone, as they each contain nuts and grains of truths that we need to nurture us. There are three important elements, the storyteller, the audience and the story.

People have been posting different kinds of blogs here at the Storytelling House. I appreciate all the contributions, but I do hope to make this House a House of stories; Not blogs, or reports, not news or calls to action.

There are going to be hundreds of groups on this site where those things can happen. The purpose of this place is to listen to, share, and tell stories that speak of our common humanity. I hope you story fiends out there can appreciate the difference that I am making here. We can make this a treasure trove of stories that anyone can dive into when they need a bit of nurturing. This site is an amazing way for us all to connect, and to be heard.

So please think before you post, if your blog is not a story, if it is a report, a call to action, a comment on your day, or something other than a STORY, then please consider posting it in another group.
