Introducing myself and my journal: CloudPlay

About Me:
I am a playwright, a teacher, a mother, a singer, a lover of horses and dogs, and an angry feminist in Dutchess County, New York, 84 miles north of New York City. I am angry at every member of our Congress; I believe that the women there have th4e same problem I do: they refuse to access their power as individuals. They hide their true selves behind their work, and they have not spoken up. They have not asked "why?" continuously in the face of the war in Iraq, the practices which led to the economic tragedy we are living in, the fact that we live in a country where we produce too much food for anyone to eat and yet people starve to death all over the world every day. They don't ask why there is so much domestic violence mainly against women and girls in this wealthiest of nations. That fact alone is an embarrassment and an abomination.

My Passions:
Theatre, music, horses

My Challenges:
Using my own power as an individual.

My Vision for the Future:
A place where all women are safe and respected and free to be who they want to be. But for this to happen, we must, as women, get together.
