Introducing myself and my journal: My Passion in Technology

About Me:
I am a woman from a developing country born and bred in a rural village down the slopes of the Aberdares in the central region of Kenya. Coming from a not very well to do family, and with no college fees available, I spent 3 years after high school farming and teaching myself what I could about computers from books and journals. When I finally touched an actual computer I was hooked for life.

I use my skills to give back to the society in any way I can, whether its designing a website for a school or its ensuring that a children's home website is up and running at all time or mentoring young girls to join the computing field, I have a strong belief that to make best use of your skill you have to let it impact someone not so privileged.

My Passions:
Web Development, Mobile Applications, ICT for Development
