Introducing myself and my journal: Joan of Arc's Banner

About Me:
My work for many years has been to support international students studying in the U.S. with advocacy, counsel, support services, immigration advisement, and opportunities to express their perspectives and traditions. I have met extraordinary people from around the world and have been deeply moved and inspired by their stories of struggle, resilience, and triumph. My hope is to provide for students during the American sojourn so that they can concentrate on succeeding in their studies and then go out into the world and do good work. Still, I look to do more, so I am anxious to listen and learn and take direction from those who might have need of me or my resources.

My Passions:
Social Justice, Interrnational Dialogue, Restorative Justice, Music and Knitting

My Challenges:
I work so many hours that I neglect some of the people and things that are most important

My Areas of Expertise:
Language, Educational Systems, Cultural Adjustment, International Student Issues
