Fearfully and wonderfully made

I have often wondered the where abouts of God,especially when faced with situations that seem to require divine intervention..God,where are you? Can you hear me? I need you!! are some of the prayers offered to a God who seems to have turned His back or one who refuses to speak...

However, this mind set changed once i got pregnant with my first baby. I then had first hand proof that God was with me always. You see,no matter how much credit i may want to take for my children's conception or existence, when i think about it,very little is in my hands. Can you imagine how a baby( a person) comes into being. From the very release of the egg,its journey down the fallopian tube, its meeting with the sperm, then fertilization???..I have no control over that process. Science tells me how i can try and time it so that the probability of fertilization happens is increased but there are no guarantees. Even if you were to do the whole process in the lab, again there are no grantees. You see,the bible puts it this way...

Psa 139:14 I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.
Psa 139:15 My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.
Psa 139:16 Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them. ........

Another version says..\" You knit me together in my mother's womb\"

While pregnant, even before your body registers that there is a new addition,God would already have started knitting a person together. So regardless of whether ones' parents plan for a baby or not,it is God who does the making,so He is never surprised by your existence...

So when ever you \"FEEL\" alone, know that the God who created you,He never sleeps nor slumbers and He is always with you, just as He has been from the beginning..........
