Introducing myself and my journal: only one step, can make a difference

About Me:
i am a 30 year old graduate of Developement Studies and soon will complete a MA in the same discpline. Gender and Women issues has always been my passion. The postgraduate study i have undertaken however has done alot to increase the zeal in me to speak openly about women and the abilities they have, while highlighting what is wrong that needs to change. For over five years i have worked with women and children and seen and heard the hardships they go through which i believe can have a solution.

I really want the situation of Women to change of course for the better. I have been doing this formally through teaching classes and through informal talks whenever i identify a man or woman who needs to be educated or sensitised about any Gender or Woman issue. When my workmate told me about Worldpulse and what they do,i went arms up and logged in to join.I was so delighted because i certainly knew i had found likeminded people. I am looking forward to starting a small organisation next year to do more Gender activism and Women empowerment in my community.

Seeing women succeed and traversing all obstacles is my joy,i believe every woman out there just needs to take that step.

The struggle continues!

My Passions:
