Introducing myself and my journal

About Me:
Women must be empowered now!

I am guided by a personal philosophy that to do well, we first must be well. My
work began in 2005 through founding the nonprofit, DonorsResource.org. The
following five years included creating two other organizations and one for profit
business. For my work and more, I’ve won accolades that range from 2007
Regence BlueCross BlueShield Hero Award and the 2008 Safeco Foundation
National Hero Award to the 2012 Outstanding Innovative Project AFP Award.

During this six year journey I learned that accolades and accomplishments are
great, but they are as only as good as we think and feel about ourselves.
This realization ignited my passion to encourage self care as an author and a
speaker.

I believe in the importance of finding ways to take care of how we think and feel
about ourselves, thus becoming empowered!
