Once Upon and Always a Journey

I have been constantly concerned with what life serves women around the world.
I grew up in the midst of abuses. And the excuse was always that it's not physical. Emotional abuse, however can cause greater damage. I saw the everyday insults on my mother and watched as the aggression was transferred to me by my father (since I'm also a woman).

I believe, though, that my mother was a victim of innocence: she was too naïve when she got married and so was cheated for a long time. It has then always been my desire to reach out to women. Women need to be empowered: and I do not see this as a war against men. Rather, its a war against the walls of ignorance leading to hopelessness in the minds of women.

I held a programme during my undergraduate days 'Ladies' Day Out' and sought to enlighten ladies on the power in them. One of my friends from those days introduced me to Pulsewire where with great delight I see women who are winning the battle of the mind.

We should reach out to other women through the web and with the power of women initiate not a war against men,but a war against the impossibilities in our minds. We can make our world better.
