Feeling Informed & Transformed

I just returned from a weekend at Omega Intitute's Women & Power Conference. I am so energized by the experience, I couldn't wait to register to this site.(which by the way is so not like me) Imagine being in the presence of some of the most dynamic women of this century, journalists, authors, scientists, activists, and health practitioners all under the same roof sharing their stories of courage. Most importantly, the women who turned their rage into solutions to alleviate injustices they faced in their countries really empowered me. I realize that anyone and everyone can make a difference. The object is TO ACT. So that's what I'm going to do and it all begins right here.
