Introducing myself and my journal: The Girl Child-No More Humiliation.

About Me:
Am Dinnah Joseph , a teacher by profession and a Kenyan citizen.Am believer of the christian faith.Am a mother of five daughters in a community where the girl child is disregarded,the reason why I was forced to try several times to get a baby boy but in vain.To date, the same community has not come to terms with the fact that the girl child is a child just like a boy.In fact am still under pressure to get the sixty child if that can be a boy,probably even up to the seventh one!, My dream is to help transform our community's attitude to the girl child.Never more should the girl child be understimated or be underrated. I wish to be empowered to be a champion to address the plight of the girl child in our society
