Introducing myself and my journal: Empowering disadvantaged women and Girls

About Me:
Iam an educated young with a bachelor degree in developmental studies and currently doing masters degree.
i work with a small grass root organiztion where i coordinate women,gedner and protection themes.iam a Kenyan somali.In my community been a woman has triple disadvatages;first for been a muslim,secondly for been a somali and thirdly for been a muslim and therefore my aim is to break this barrier and make the voices of women in my society heard.

My Passions:
work towards a just society where all are equal and women and girls enjoy their potentials to the fullest

My Challenges:
cultural and traditional practices and beliefs,government policies,streotypes and lack of funds

My Vision for the Future:
an society based on equality with no discrimination
