About Me:
Hello everyone! I am Amrita Sarkar, a doctor by profession. I am from Guwahati, India.
If we reflect on the development and advancement of the world, we are awed by the speed but what is sad is progress of women still is not up to the mark. On one side there are women who touch the moon, and on the other hand, there are women who suffer from neglect in every field, or worse rape, dowry deaths, genital mutilation...the list is endless and also includes heinous crime like female feticide!
I did not go through this and when I hear such things it makes me sad and angry! I want to make a change, in whatever small or big way I can....and make world a better place to live in ...more so for women...
