VOF Week 4: Achieving My Dreams
Jan 21, 2015
Story
My personal vison for my life, is to inspire as many people as possible, and to develop a deep, real and truthful community whereby my truth inspires people to come out of their hiding places and show their real face. I have had a vision since I was nine years old of speaking to large crowds of people, and in my undergraduate days, I found the power of the voice could move people, when I won a speaker of the year at a university that had over 35,000 students in it. This was part of the fulfillment of my dreams, but I am not satisfied with my life and won't be unitl that particular vision has been fulfilled.
As for the world, I see a new world of hope and the culmination of a new evolutionary being, whereby the spirit and the the body will once again function as one, and we will become more evolved and higher functioning beings that live through the more feminine aspects of our being, whereby nurturing in stead of destruction will be our number one priority.
Being a correspondondent, will give me the necessary training and empowerment I need to make my dreams come, true. I have needed, wanted and desired mentoring in this area all my life, so it would be the fulfillment of a much desired dream. Not since, my work on the African American Women's Conference that was an inspiring conference for women's empowerment in spirituality and culture have I felt so connected to women since joining this forum, and it would give me the opportunity to engage some of my future plans for conference work in this area. I am already being inspired to create a women's support group in Uganda, for women to come togther in a support group to support our creative efforts. Being encouraged to speak my voice here, has alerted me to the need to do more.
