Introducing myself and my journal: Me, MySelf and Us

About Me:
I am first a woman but a woman who works for peace and understanding in our world. A woman who prays and has seen some my prayers answered. I am passionate about teaching everyone the importance of children and childhood and the sacredness of life. My work, on all levels is to see an end to war, violence and dis-ease and the establishment of peace and harmony around and across the world.

I am the founder and CEO of two significant international NGO's that have spawned a number of other projects and programs around the world: Peace of the World International at http://www.peaceoftheworld.org and the African American Women's Leadership Congress (see link below). Our goal in both organizations to make peace the focus of our our work for the sake of all the children in the world. Every child is our child.

I am a non-traditional believer in that I believe that we cannot put the Spirit of God into any box and label it something that we have created as our minds are not yet large enough to communicate on even the lowest level on which God exists. Therefore, I respect the culture of other nations and peoples of the world in that we can bow within ourselves in communion and celebration of our sameness as humans being.

I am a published author, lecturer, international trader (import/export), community organizer, researcher, pedagogue, and employment specialist; a member of the Daughters of Erma, the Order of Kush, and an Eastern Star. Most recently, I have been appointed Chair of the Triumvirate for The Violet Revolution (visit http://www.thevioletrevolution.net).

My Passions:
Peace, Child Welfare and Women's Rights

My Challenges:
Too much to do and too little time in which to do it.

My Vision for the Future:
Peace between humans who teach and raise children to live in Peace

My Areas of Expertise:
Communications
