Introducing myself and my journal

About Me:
Andrea lives in Brooklyn, New York and is a graduate student at Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs. She is committed to the political, economic, and social equity and advancement of young women and has spent the last six years working with organizations committed to these goals. She is development consultant for World Pulse and is very excited to be a part of such an amazing community.

Andrea recently completed work on the Women Moving Millions campaign – a historic Initiative launched by Helen LaKelly Hunt and Swanee Hunt to encourage women donors to give at the $1M and above to women’s foundations. The campaign raised more than $180 million for women and girls around the world. Andrea is the co-founder and co-chair of the Supporting Women Artists Project (SWAP), a Brooklyn-based non-profit organization that provides free studio space to women artists in exchange for their mentoring public school students who do not have access to art education. She also sits on the board of the Third Wave Foundation.
