Introducing myself and my journal

Posted May 22, 2009 from United States

About Me: I am 52 years young and grateful to be alive at this most wonderful time of change. I am a mother of grown sons and have many grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. I am a special education teacher, but also a student of life. I am always searching for ways to conserve energy and live as simply and naturally as I can. I am also an artist...though I haven't created anything for awhile...that soon will change...I am restructuring, but I didn't get a bailout, so it's taking me awhile.

My Passions: Art

My Challenges: My career as a Special Education Teacher for severly challenged elementary students

My Vision for the Future: A sweatlodge on my property, an horno, spiritual growth for self and others, a growing respect for all our relations from people to plants, all people loving and caring for our Mother Earth once again

My Areas of Expertise: I am a Jill of many trades, but a master of none
