My name is Liz. I am a graduate student at Portland State University in Portland, Oregon, United States. I'm working on a Master's in Social Work (MSW) and a Master's in Public Health (MPH). I currently work for a mental health agency, where I support individuals in accessing and maintaining safe and affordable housing.
I love to listen and I love to learn; I plan to be a life-long learner. I love hearing perspectives that are diverse from mine and collaborating and integrating with others to create something entirely new and unique. I'm a strong believer in healing and self-care- teaching ourselves and each other that we are worthy of love and nurturing no matter what we've been through. As a WorldPulse Listener, I'm hoping to foster all of these things and use my experiences to make and accomplish new goals! music, books, my dog Sadie language barriers mental health, substance abuse, trauma-informed services, homeslesness, domestic violence, sexual violence
