Why my women farmers and youths weave the web.

Am a graduate, with passion for farming, food processing and NGO work for youths and women farmers. l get most of my informations, methods, techniques and inspiration for these work form the internet. My greatest challenge is how to get my youths (the girl child) and women farmers to embraced and depend on internet for all their informations, methods, techniques,how to solved and get solutions to all their farms and processing issues. l and my team spotted the followings from our door to door questions and answer on\"why don't you like new farming methods and technology found on the internet\" (a) lack of education and computer illiteracy. (b) lack of awareness, on the existence, the usefulness, need and important of internet. (c) locations and cyberspace. (d) cyber is meant for the boys and men. (e) fear of harassment by the male counterpart. (f) the rural believed the cyber is for irresponsible and corrupt people, so if women are seen there,will be classified as an halot. (g) It will be wrong for us to divert from our traditional methods. (h) It is time wasting. (I) no funds to pay in the cyber , nor buy phones that connect to network. (j) poor network service. After analyzing all these challenges, we decided to go all out for solutions, here are some of our suggestions. (1) intensive concentration should be on Awareness creation,on the usage, usefulness and need of internet, how the world will be a better place and the slogan\"no woman no nation\"will be well said if they embrace internet knowledge. (2) Government should build cyber for women.(3) computer trainings should be done in our local language.(4) computer, internet and online issues should form part of our school curriculum from primary.(5) empower NGO, s that figh these cause.
