This journey will visit various archaeological sites, including: Machu Picchu, the salt terraces of Maras, the agriculture test fields of Moray and the ruins of Ollantaytambo, Huchuy Qosqo, and Pisaq. Professional guides will be provided at each site to ensure safety and to optimize educational value. We will encourage a spiritual connection with the environment by integrating yoga, meditation, Reiki, and spa services. a round-trip flight from Lima to Cusco and Cusco to Lima
ground transportation via train, bus and Mercedes Sprinter

the majority of meals will be provided in a group setting, and we have set aside times for guests to explore Peruvian meals on their own

Empower Yourself Retreats is a socially responsible organization which strives to empower communities. After every successful retreat, we dedicate our time to the local community by offering free outreach programs. In 2012, we organized African Dance workshops for Fundacion Munasim Kullikita, a non-governmental organization (NGO) that rehabilitates minor female victims of commercial sexual exploitation in El Alto, Bolivia. Also in 2012, Empower Yourself Retreats lead a volunteer retreat for the nursing staff at Hospital Arco Iris in La Paz, Bolivia focused on conflict resolution.

Professional Guides
Molly Hillig: Molly is a Registered Nurse and has been organizing and leading international retreats since 2011. She started her own business called Empower Yourself Retreats, through which she lives out her passion of serving others and helping them improve personal well-being. Molly has studied Yoga and Dance for over 10 years; she also practices Diamond Way Buddhism. Her goal for The Energy of the Sacred Valley-Machu Picchu journey is to lead guests in meditation techniques and Yoga classes and to coordinate all rejuvenation activities. She speaks English, Spanish and Portuguese.

Christian Schöttle: Christian is psychologist and has guided unique tours in the South American Andes for international travelers since 2005. His tour agency Andean Venture is located in La Paz, Bolivia and Lima, Peru. In addition to tourism, Christian channels positive energy by performing Reiki therapy. His goal for The Energy of the Sacred Valley-Machu Picchu journey is to provide a well-planned, safe and comfortable vacation for our guests. Christian speaks German, English and Spanish.
