My Hero - Wire James Lunghabo!

When I first stepped in my first work place, I had no sense of direction, I did not know what I wanted to become as a young fresh graduate, then I met my then boss, Wire James Lunghabo, - A man with a big heart.

He opened up the doors for my success, he linked me up to various technical groups that were relevant to my career, he made sure I learned the newest technologies, including Linux from scratch, he created an environment that was so conducive for me to learn, and he believed that women had the potential to succeed.

He sent me to the biggest clients in our company to set up systems, sometimes I thought he was giving me too much work while the guys were not assigned tasks, but I later learned that he believed I was better than them. It is from this little company that I began my career, that I learned to network, that I met the most influential people in my life.

What more can I say, I moved on from Linux Solutions, but I can always say, James Wire Lunghabo was a big inspiration in my life, a selfless, knowledgable man that advocated - still does, for Women in Information Technology.

I can firmly say, James Wire Lunghabo is my Hero!
