CHILD ABUSE

The issue of child abuse
Whom should we accuse?
Parents who brought them to the world
Or adverse conditions of our world

Children are born
Not to be scorn
They desire respect
In every aspect

Children are a blessing
As such, shouldn’t be missing
Better prospects for the future
As a way to nurture

Children labour
While master’s harbour
By means of exploitation
Hindering children’s expectations

Stop child labour and violence
Imbue in them excellence
Groom them for posterity
Harness them for humanity

Children have rights
Needs love and care to be alright
They require opportunities for livelihood
To enable them enjoy their childhood
