Ditched female condom is back

Under this tag i will be posting most of the stories i write for PlusNews on HIV. This is the lastest.
Ten years after Ugandan women ditched the female condom, they are now demanding for it. The authorities I spoke to say the women want a prevention strategy within their control. The prevalence rates are going up and among the unsuspected groups like the marrieds.

However, some women in regions like the western part of the country have totally rejected them citing culture. In Karamajong women use them as bangles to decorate themselves.
