Being Woman

When i was a little child, i used to look at my mother and think how great she was pondering over her skills in managing our whole family. I never saw my mom using or being under the banners of "rejection," "objection," "freedom," and so on. She never had the right to speak up or probably never had the courage to do so. When i grew up and became teenager, I soon started to realize, my life is probably be going to be like my mother. But my mother always wanted me to have a different life than her, not the one she was going through willingly.

Now, when i am a wife myself, and think back on my mother's days, I really can't find any answer to my mother's helplessness. However, one think i can say about my mother's day that the society was so much confined for a woman that she even did not have the courage to speak up. As she now finds the world more aware and and collaborative to women's opinion, I can really see the change in her, the motive to stand up, the courage to speak up, the philanthropy to raise voice at the age of late 40.

I really salute my mom for being my role model because without her, I wouldn't be able to stand up, where I am speaking today. Each and every mother is probably like my mom. Thanks to the Almighty for making me a "Woman.' I am proud to be a woman.
