About Me

Denisha Ramdhan is the Chief Executive Officer for The C..A.S.H. Creating Another Source Of Hope Foundation in Trinidad and Tobago. She was born in the capital of Trinidad, Port of Spain. She enjoyed writing from a very early age, hence short stories and poetry became a favourite pastime. She is currently working on her first book and hopes to have it completed by the end of 2016.She aspires to be one of the leading female youth advocates in the Caribbean. As a thriving survivor of severe child abuse and Domestic violence as an adult she hopes to create nationwide awareness to the challenges that our youths face on a daily basis. She is also a columnist for Caribbean News Now and enjoys music thoroughly.

While the Foundation is her Pride and Joy and it is currently taking up most of her time due to the amount of ground work that needs to be done. She really hopes to complete her studies. She is a past student of the University of the West Indies Open Campus where she studied Human Resource Management and is currently studying for her diploma in psychology after which she hopes to pursue her Masters.

My Vision

To live in a world where our children are not judged harshly. a world where the challenges they face become so much our own reality that we eradicate it all together. a world where they are free to be exactly who they are; children free from hurt, child abuse, victimization, bullying, neglect and poverty. A world where they are free to play and laugh and make their own mistakes and learn from them.
