JOURNEE INTERNATIONALE CONTRE LA VIOLENCE FAITE AUX FEMMES

Les 25 novembre est la journée internationale pour l'élimination des violence faites aux femmes.

c'est un fait tragique: la RDC est aujourd'hui après l'afghanistan ,le pays le plus dangereux aux monde pour les femmes .on estime que 1150 filles et femmes sont chaque jour violées en RDC dans la province du nord-kivu et notament dans la ville de goma qui est en crise profonde depuis près de 20 ans les populations vivent dans une insécurité chronique.
En 1999 ,l'organisation des nations unies a proclamé le 25 Novembre la journée internationale pour l'élimination des violence à l'egard des femmes ,depui lors ,les gouvernements et les organisations non gouvernementales sont invitées à organiser, chaque année ce jour-là, des activites destinées à sensibiliser l'opunion publique au problème de violence faite aux femmes.
A cette date s'ouvre egalement la campagne internationale des 16 jours de mobilisation qui s'échelonne jusqu'au 10 decembre,journée internationale des droits de l'homme.
cette campagne nous rappelle que les violences faites aux femmes constituent une des violations des droits de l'homme les plus répandus dans tous les pays.

International Day Against Violence Towards Women

The 25th of November is the international day for an end to violence against women. It is a tragic fact: today the DRC next to Afghanistan, is the most dangerous country in the world for women. It is estimated that 1,150 girls and women are raped everyday in DRC in the province of North Kivu and particularly in the city of Goma, which has been in a deep state of crisis for close to 20 years where the population has been living in a situation of chronic danger.
In 1999, the United Nations proclaimed the 25th of November to be the international day for an end to violence against women. Since then, the government and the non government organizations were invited to organize on this day each year, activities that would raise awareness among the public on the problem of violence towards women. On this date, the international campaign has also been created; it is a movement of 16 days that stretches to the 10th of December, which is the international day for human rights. This campaign reminds us that violence against women is one of the most widespread violations of human rights in all countries.
