Introducing myself and my journal: WOMAN DOES IT RIGHT

About Me:
I am a 44yr old wife and mother of 4 boys, grew up within the academic environment in Nigeria as a dauthter of a University Professor. I believe very much in the ability of an individual particularly a woman, i have been highly independent from youth which never went well with my mother but my father was more understanding. I also believe that nobody can handle a situation better than I, Little wonder i have never employed a driver, i drive myself to the 36 states of my country including ABUJA, the federal capital territory. God has given every individual the ability to excel but it depends on if and when the individual identifies those abilities to put them into proper use. The potentials of a woman cannot be quantified and i believe that women need to believe more in themselves.When you have the conviction that you can do it, the first hurdle is crossed. We shall continue talking.

Iam very passionate about issues of women and children in Africa in paticular and the World in general

My Challenges:
My challenges include Africa and the cultural, traditional and religious beliefs about and of women

My Vision for the Future:
Ilook forward to a time when women would be seen as partners in progress and as a force to reckon with if the Nations of theworld must progress

As a Journalist, i know a bit of everything but i love talking to women on believing in themselves
