My voice is powerful

It's been 2 months of misery and frustration living without Internet connection. We woke up like a joke to discover that we could not connect to the rest of the world because English speaking Cameroonians dared complain about their living and working conditions in Cameroon.

Schools have been shut down for 3 good months now and common law lawyers are not practicing for good 3 months as well. Many have been arrested and taken to Yaounde because they had videos or messages about the situation in their phones and would judged as extremists and condemned for treason.

Things got interesting recently when I discovered that I was being monitored closely because I had posted on social media, discussed on phone about the issue etc. My line had been hacked into 08 times. Thank God I saw it early enough!

I know the voice I have and I will talk until I get the necessary change. My voice is very powerful and important. We now travel out of our regions to get connected to the internet. We have lost our online classes, assignments, business reports and many other opportunities.

I will keep fighting and standing by what is right until solution finally comes.
