Vision

Thank you so much for this wonderful inspiring module. It has made me reflect on my personal vision as an individual and the vision I have for my community.

My personal vision is to grow full as a woman ,discover my strengths and weaknesses to better understand and myself and people around me. I want to build a strong career increase my knowledge base to better serve my community(women and girls). My vision is to see myself as women right defender, being able to lobby and advocate for women issues in the world.

My vision is to see more women empowered, fully participating in all development agendas, in their grass root, national and international community. My vision is to see a just world for all .A world free form violence, where discrimination against women is not so “legitimate”, normalized to an extend that” she is a woman any way”. By building my personal vision I will best build my community vision. I will engage other women and likeminded persons to see a just society for all .Where being a woman is not a disability or one of measure of vulnerability.

My vision is strong, aware and educated community of women and girls.

Yes I want to be a Voice of our correspondent; I want to represent the voices of many forgotten girls in developing countries. The many problem women face today emanated from their teenage-hood. That is when their rights a child were denied in the bases of being female: they were victims of female genital mutilation, got married off to a 50 year old man, gave birth and suffered maternal complications and physically, emotionally and sexually violated. My aim is to reduce women and girls suffering.

My vision is to create awareness on Pulse wire to the girls who can access internet. Ask them to subscribe to PulseWire and be active members of the community. I will also work closely with other individuals or groups in and outside PulseWire to formulate impact based approaches we can use to ensure even the girls in the rural Africa and other developing world can access Pulsewire or their voices are represented.

This will help me see my vision come true, many girls will be able to access information on sexual and reproductive health, know also which services exist for them, connect globally and have a safe space they can talk about their issues. They will also be aware of what is happening, ensure that they don’t live in isolation.

I know it’s a long journey, but each step counts and I will not be afraid to try again and again and also involve other likeminded people, in their small and big way we will change the world
