Kenya Citizens' YES Declaration

Dear all.

It is horrifying and disturbing to see individuals,
political parties, politicians and the government working tirelessly to
withdraw from ICC process. The only hope remaining, the only process that guarantees
justice and relief to Victims of 2007/2008 Post Election Violence.

Previous attempts to establish a local Tribunal have failed “DO NOT BE VAGUE, GO TO THE HAUGE”. The sudden move
by the MPs to now withdraw Kenya from The ICC is worrying. It is driven by
solely selfishness and realization that their political careers are in danger.

It’s not a surprise to many of us;
Over years the political elite have been openly promoting impunity and inequality.
The Move to withdraw Kenya from
ICC is a slap in the faces of millions of Kenyans who are until psychologically
and/or physically affects by aftermath of the 2007/2008 PEV. It’s like we
are awakening the wounds of the families, friends, mothers, daughter, husbands ,wives
and children who lost their loved once, where raped ,injured, hospitalized and who
were / still are rendered homeless.

We have to STOP this move, as it
serves to undermine the fragile situation from which Kenya was salvaged in 2007/8
and is also a retrogressive step to KENYA MOVING FORWARD.

Take a step by participating in signing
and sharing The Kenyan Citizen's YES Declaration on the ICC .Get your friends,
relatives and anyone sign.
