Facilitating digital changemaking

I facilitated to a 6 women from an organisation which focuses on gender based violence.

On this day everything that could go wrong went wrong.I had prepared all my presentation and saved them on my lap top,but that morning my laptop decided not to work and I had all my presentation there.I tool about an hour trying to fix it but it never came through.

I was fortunate enough,to be given a spare laptop from the office,which also took a while to go on.Then I had to download the presentation from Worldpulse website,but the internet was extremely slow.

Since I was given only an hour to do my presentation I decided to present using my phone,because I had the presentation on my phone. She waiting for the presentation to be downloaded so that we could project it.

The presentation went well and one thing which I realised was that the participation and eagerness was high when I shared with them the stories I had share on my journal.

Even though I ended up taking more time than anticipated,the participation was good and they were happy to have been given this resource.
