Introducing myself and my journal: World Learner

About Me:
I have travelled quite a bit within Peru because my father always said "know your country well before you venture into the world." After I finish high school in 1975, my mother sent me to the US to study English. Her idea was for me to enable my family to emigrate and pursue the american dream.I enjoy working with women and children. From that moment on I have discovered that I like helping people achieve their inmediate goals.

My Passions:
learning about other cultures by either reading books about them, listening to their music or traveling

My Challenges:
Helping my only daughter find her voice and being assertive before I leave this earth

My Vision for the Future:
for Peru and the world: a place where their women and children are treated with respect and given every opportunity to meet their full human potential.

My Areas of Expertise:
academically: I have a BS in Business Admin with a minor in Computer Information Mgmt Systems. Personally, I am a good listener, I am curious and will ask questions until I understand the issue at hand.
