Millions of American Women were disappointed today when Susan Collins voted yes for Judge Kavanaugh

Today after Senator Susan Collins of Maine chose to endorse Judge Kavvauna I sat down and cried. The fact that she didn't believe the women who came forward to say he had sexually abused them. Susan Collins did not believe that what two women said. She threw women under the bus all to please the old white males who make up our Senate. This is a sad day for women and girls, it sends the signal that if something happens to you and you tell, that you won't be believed.

Now more than ever, women need to stay strong and work toward getting more women in Congress and more women in the boardrooms and in positions of power. One by one, we will change our country for the better in a world where women are equal. After all these years, why are we still underpaid?

I will surely vote in November for pro-choice candidates and try to vote for women candidates. Right now only 17 percent of the Congress are women.  Give women the chance to run this country. Old white men are now running this country and they got to Susan Collins and the other women in the Senate, they got them to cave in against their best judgment. Why should men be making choices about when we have children. Women should realize that Roe Vs Wade may be weakened or reversed. We don't want to go back.  allowed themselves to be run over and to disbelieve the woman who came forward. What does this show the girls in this country? It was a sad day for all women today. It shows us how important it is to move women into the foreground, and out of the shadows.

I hold all the women in the Congress, those that were republican and democrat, who voted for a man who damaged women along the way. And he sat there and lied. Just like our president who denies and gets away with it. Even though twelve women have said they were sexually assaulted by him. And yet women voted for him. Evangelicals voted for him.

Women need to stand up for ourselves, call our Congresspeople those who represent us and those that don't represent us. I left messages for Susan Collin's and Jeff Flakes about my disbelief that they voted against women today and we will not forget it. Women have to step out of the shadows and elbow themselves up to that table of men that are trying to silence us.

Take the time to call the Capital 1-202-224-3121and to ask for Susan Collins and Jeff Flakes office and either talk to their staff or leave a message saying how upset you are about their decision not to believe the women. How it hurts and that what they did to empower the man was at the expense of a woman.

I am woman, hear me roar.
