—Retrenchment is a means to an end for a woman who was retrenched from a very high paying job. On the last weekend of her final days at work in January 2011, her husband suffers a chronic illness and the father in-law dies , to start the nightmare of her life. Advice from her dear husband during recovery times, helps her to start microfinance and consultancy work from the retrenchment package.

The microfinance has now almost three years of operation and the consultancy services have grown and are growing day after day.I have managed to advance my career after retrenchment and I have travelled to more countries as this microfinance and consultancy open up many opportunities for me.The company Intelligent Business Consultancy which is a financial services and business consultancy is growing and now has financial education training component in its portfolio. We work with microfinance professionals, women and youth to empower their business growth. We have impacted the lives of local women and youth in Zimabbwe and microfinance organisations who have benefited from our microfinance trainings.

Whatever challenge that you may face in your life, it is a stepping stone to your greatness.Boldness and a teachable spirit help me to move on in my life.I have managed and am managing to take care of my four children with the ernomous support from my husband.

I know that, more doors are opening up in my life and that I will impact the lives of many women and the youth as it is my passion to see an economically and financially independent woman and youth.

So never let your life challenges bring you down but take them as opportunitiues for greatness.I thank God for affording the opportunities to travel to Zambia, Kenya, Israel and South Africa for these training and consultancy opportunities and I will be travelling to many countries to effect and affect positive change in women and youth lives in the region and around the world.

Never let challenges draw your life back and remember, challenges are opportunities for your greatness.

Empowered for your business growth.

Sis Gladys Fighting for survival is a fundamental activity in human existence which often than not benefits those around. How good is it for women to use their challenges as stepping stones.

Your story is a source of strength especially for those who are feeling they are at the end of the road. I agree with you on the fact that "never let challenges draw your life back and remember, challenges are opportunities for your greatness".

I wish you success in your endeavors and hoping to see you in Cameroon with your training program.
