The Global Justice Center (GJC) is a unique, non-governmental organization dedicated to enforcing gender parity through international law. The vision of the GJC is a world where the definition of democracy presumes that women are legally entitled to be partners in decision-making processes in government, parliament, cease-fire negotiations, peacekeeping forces, war crimes tribunals, constitution-drafting committees, judicial bodies and non-governmental organizations. The mission of the GJC is to work with global leaders on the strategic and timely enforcement of international equality guarantees. Forging international legal precedents and model legal strategies; providing democracy advocates, women activists and judges with "on the ground" international law expertise; empowering "law entrepreneurs" to embed gender equality under international law. The entrenched political and cultural norms that perpetuate male dominated decision-making bodies; the historical imbalance for women in global governance and political power. My Vision for the Future
The realization of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights; as stated in the preamble: "the inherent dignity and of the equal and inalienable rights of all members of the human family is the foundation of freedom, justice and peace in the world."
