Why a Book?

Sitting around the fire place with these women and listen to their stories and experience during and after the war is one of the moments that captured my heart. Grief dominates their talk but they never cease to keep a smile. They have the untold story.
“It is by the grace of God that we live.”

The book has moments of; Drop a gun and “pick a pen” not firewood, not fetching water, not being house maid, not prostitution, not domestic violence, not gender inequality, not child labor etc.
