About Me: I'm a high school student from Portland, Oregon. When I was 12 I lived in Arusha, Tanzania for 8 months and ever since I have been interested in connecting with people around the world. I got the idea for my journal from my Women's Studies class where we learned about the lack of female role models for young girls. The purpose of this journal is to collect and share stories of heroism from women and girls around the world.
