I am a 25 year old woman in New Mexico. I was born in Germany to an American mother and English father. My father's message to me while growing up was that women are second class citizens, that women were put on the Earth to serve the men. That's it. The result is, as an adult, I am very passionate about women's rights and empowerment and do not accept what I was taught growing up.
I pursued my college education at Naropa University in Boulder, CO and studied Buddhist Psychology and alternative health. I did a semester abroad in an international ecovillage in Findhorn, Scotland studying international community building and sustainability. I have worked in a welfare office, coffee shops, restaurants, in art studios, completed an internship at a Traditional Chinese Medicine Clinic, and now I work in hospice managing a volunteer program.
I have been studying Tibetan Buddhism with H.E. Tulku Sang-ngag Rinpoche since 2009 and hope to someday visit holy Buddhist sites in India, Nepal, Bhutan, Tibet, etc. I wish for the Tibetan people to be free!
I wish for every woman to have the support and connection with other woman and resources to live a happy, safe, and fulfilling life, and to change the world for the better for each other! dance, women's rights, advocacy for the poor/opressed, sustainability, herbs, natural medicine, Buddhism, travel, journaling, gardening patience, being shy, channeling my thoughts and passions I'm not an expert on anything, but I've learned a little about dance, psychology, and alternative medicine. I do understand a lot about the effects of abuse and neglect of children and the elderly.
My Vision for the Future
for women to mutually align and support one another across borders, cultures, race, etc. For our men to be sincere allies in creating a better and safer world for everyone.
