Finding My Bearings



The biggest challenge with working with the sort of children that we work with is that after trekking in the hot sun climbing the hill for 30 minutes, you find girls who are highly unmotivated. And after you have spend a whole hour raising their spirits, you still have to negotiate another 30 minutes trek. Add that to the other bit of working i have to to earlier and later in the day, the duration of walking comes to close to one hour and a half.



By the time I am done and have arrived home, I am worn out and have to find my bearings and the motivation to face the new day. But it is all worth it at the end of the day and I thank God for the few girls who are already catching up
